Ring Sizes
Finding the perfect fit is essential for your new Ailani Jewels piece. We use standard US/Canada sizing, ranging from sizes 6 to 9. Use the guide below to determine your size.
Ring Size Conversion Table
If you are unsure of your size, you can measure the internal diameter of a ring you already own or measure the circumference of your finger.
| US / Canada Size | UK / Australia Size | Inside Diameter (mm) | Inside Circumference (mm) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 6 | L ½ | 16.5 mm | 51.9 mm |
| 7 | N ½ | 17.3 mm | 54.4 mm |
| 8 | P ½ | 18.1 mm | 57.0 mm |
| 9 | R ½ | 19.0 mm | 59.7 mm |
How to Measure Your Finger
To get the most accurate reading, we recommend measuring your finger at the end of the day when your hands are warm.
Option 1: Measure an Existing Ring
- Select a ring that fits the desired finger perfectly.
- Use a ruler to measure the internal diameter of the ring in millimetres (straight across the inside centre).
- Compare your measurement to the "Inside Diameter" column in our chart above.
Option 2: The Paper / String Method
- Wrap a thin strip of paper or a piece of string comfortably around the base of your finger.
- Mark the spot where the ends meet with a pen.
- Lay the paper or string flat and measure the distance in millimetres. This is your circumference.
- Match this to the "Inside Circumference" column above.
Tips for the Perfect Fit
- Stacking Rings: If you are buying a wider band or planning to stack multiple rings on one finger, we recommend sizing up for a more comfortable fit.
- Between Sizes: If you fall between two sizes, we generally suggest choosing the larger size.
- Temperature Matters: Fingers can shrink when cold and swell when warm. Avoid measuring your hands when they are very cold.
